Tell us about yourself, your availability, where you live and which areas you're willing to travel to for events.
Selected candidates will be invited to a casual interview so we can learn more about you, answer your questions and make sure Event Maids is a good fit.
Every team member must complete Event Maids University before working their first event.
This training will introduce you to our service standards, event-day expectations, team procedures and the different services we provide.
Once you're officially added to the team pool, you'll begin receiving notifications for events in the regions you selected.
Each opportunity will include the important details you need before deciding whether to accept. Exact addresses of events will be given day -of after confirmation.
Available that weekend? Accept the opportunity.
Already have plans or the location is too far? Simply decline it.
There is no pressure to accept every event. However, rejecting 3 consecutive events will result in removal from the pool.
Event opportunities are based on client bookings, location, availability and staffing needs, so a certain number of hours or events cannot be guaranteed.

During the next step, you'll be able to select all the regions and cities you're willing to travel to. Selecting multiple regions may give you access to more event opportunities.
Depending on the event and services booked, team members may assist with:
- Event Setup
- Table Bussing
- Guest- area upkeep
- Drink station & water pitcher refills
- Chair Transfers
- Packing decorations & personal items
- End-of-event cleanup
- Table & Chair Setup or breakdown
- Serving
Every event is different. Team members must be comfortable staying active, working as part of a team and helping complete the services assigned for that shift.
You may enjoy working with Event Maids if you:
- Want flexible, occasional event work
- Are available for some evenings and weekends
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Are dependable and communicate clearly
- Can follow instructions and pay attention to details
- Have reliable transportation to the events you accept.
Previous event, hospitality, restaurant, cleaning or customer-service experience is helpful, but it is not always required. A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are just as important.
Event Maids work is based on our clients' event schedules. Most opportunities take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, although weekday events may occasionally become available.
Schedules, locations and shift lengths vary by event. Joining the pool does not guarantee a minimum number of events or weekly hours.
Once you accept an event, we depend on you to remain committed to that date and arrive prepared and on time.
Professional appearance, respectful communication and teamwork are required at every event. Additional dress-code and event-day expectations will be reviewed during onboarding.
At Event Maids, your earning potential grows with your training and the services you're qualified to perform.
Starting pay ranges from $21-$27 per hour, depending on your role, completed training, and the services you're approved to provide.
Here's how it works:
-$21+/hour - Team members trained for essential event support services.
- Higher hourly pay - Earn more by completing additional training and qualifying for more specialized event services.
- Up to $27/ hour - Team Leads who demonstrate leadership, reliability, and are trained across all Event Maids services.
Joining the team pool begins with a short interest form.(5-10 minutes) You'll be able to tell us about your availability, preferred regions, travel limits, experience and the type of event work you're interested in.
Completing the form does not require you to accept a position or commit to any events. It simply helps us determine whether you may be a good match for an upcoming Event Maids team.
